These British Columbia ADHD support groups are provided as a public service. Adult ADHD Coach Pete Quily does not endorse or recommend any specific group.

Meeting places and time vary. Please contact the group to confirm the places and times.

If there is no support group in your area, consider starting an ADHD support group. I did. Here’s how you can do it.

Since most of these groups are volunteer-run organizations, please try and help the group leaders by volunteering some of your time.

One reason ADHD support groups shut down is that the people running it get burnt out because they’re often doing most of the work themselves.

If one of these ADHD Support groups has changed their contact information and you want it updated please let me know.

Also, if you know of any ADHD support groups in BC that aren’t listed here that should be, please email me.

Vancouver Adult ADD Support Group. Now sadly closed until the pandemic ends, no online meetings but have a list of notes for 30+ meeting topics.

I started this group in 2003. We ran until the pandemic started but we are now closed for the pandemic, no in person meetings, no online meetings.

But there is a list of notes on 30+ different ADHD topics at Adult ADHD Issues you can read.

We did offer support and education for adults with ADD through monthly meetings and we were the only adult ADHD support group in BC.

Our members came from Delta to Whistler and from Mission to Victoria. We used to meet at Ravensong Community Health Centre, 2450 Ontario St, Vancouver, near Main and Broadway on the first Tuesday of the month 6.30 – 8.30 pm.

We focused on one specific topic that we ADDers usually have problems with.

RIP CHADD Vancouver / ADD Vancouver Support Group. Has permanently closed down.

Formerly known as CHADD Vancouver met for a few months as ADD Vancouver Support Group, but now has permanently closed down.

Sadly CHADD Canada is no more. CHADD Vancouver has been around since the 1990s.

I got on their board in 2003 when I started the Vancouver Adult ADD Support Group (now not meeting until covid19 is over) and presented once a year or so at their meetings.

They ran monthly meetings that provide education and support to families of children/youth with an ADHD diagnosis, adults with ADHD and interested professionals and provided continuing education on ADD and were a community resource for information about Attention Deficit Disorders.

Members came from all over the lower mainland to their meetings at  Ravensong Community Health Centre in Vancouver.

Victoria Adult ADHD Support Group

Our virtual support group meetings are held every two weeks.

Send an email to hello@adultadhdvictoriabc.com to signup for our meeting at 7 pm.
